How to use: The Quaker site gives the stovetop method for one serving. Bring 1 cup of water or milk to a boil, stir in 1/2 cup of oats and cook about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring now and then. In the microwave, mix 1/2 cup of oats with 1 cup of water or milk and heat on high for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Stir before you serve. Top a warm bowl with sliced banana, honey and chopped walnuts.
